The ELSNER 60209 building control system, model WS1000 Style-10, is designed to manage up to 10 230 V drives, making it ideal for controlling curtains, awning, blinds, windows and sliding doors.

Key Features

This system has an extremely flat design with a glass panel and an 8.4-inch touch screen display. The display can display current weather data, be turned off or halved in sleep mode, reducing energy consumption and not disturbing the room environment.

Languages and Customization

The display language is adjustable in English, German, French and Italian. In addition, the display can function as an image frame by inserting an SD card.

Output and Drives

The system offers 10 outputs for drives, usable for 230 V or potentially free, suitable for controlling various devices such as curtains, awning, blinds and sliding doors. It is possible to connect multiple drives into a group and control them centrally using the IMSG 230 motor control unit.

Control functions

• The individual motors can be operated manually using additional buttons.
• The automatic reset function returns the drives and devices to automatic mode after a manual operation, with the possibility of setting a time delay or a fixed time.
• The functions of the arrows can be adapted to the actual direction of movement of the devices, for example for curtains that extend from the bottom up.

Sensors and Detection Systems

The system supports indoor radio-controlled sensors for measuring air temperature and humidity, with wireless data transfer to the central unit. In addition, it includes a weather station with electronic wind speed measurement technology, precipitation detection using a heated sensor, and measurement of brightness and twilight using special filters.

Security and Automation Features

• A motion detector can close windows, while a fire alarm can retract curtains (evacuation paths) and start ventilation (smoke extraction).
• The settings menu can be protected with an access code to prevent unauthorized changes.

Technical Specifications

The system has an IP20 degree of protection, dimensions of the central panel of 270 mm x 185 mm x 9 mm and of the plenum box of 254 mm x 171 mm x 85 mm, with a total weight of about 2.1 kg. The operating environment is between +5°C and +40°C, with non-condensing relative humidity between 0% and 95%. The storage temperature ranges from -25°C to +70°C, with overvoltage category III and protection class II.
