The APD-200 detector is designed to operate as part of the ABAX 2 / ABAX two-way wireless system. Meets EN 50131 requirements for Grade 2.

Effective motion detection thanks to the double pyroelement, the digital detection algorithm and the dynamic compensation of the temperature of the protected environment. APD-200 has an advanced lens with unique beam distribution. It can be replaced with a vertical curtain lens (CT-CL) or a long-range lens (LR-CL). APD-200 supervises the detection system and indicates any irregularities in operation.

APD-200 configuration and firmware update are performed remotely. Radio communication in the ABAX 2 system is encrypted with the AES standard.

The detector is powered by a 3V CR123A battery, the status of which is monitored in real time. The device features low power consumption and the “ECO” mode (only available in ABAX 2) further extends battery life by up to four times without replacing the battery.

LED indicators show violations in the test mode, thus facilitating the process of testing the detector.

The device can be installed on the ceiling or wall thanks to the adjustable bracket. The detector is equipped with tamper protection against opening and removal from the support.
