To address this situation, ZyXEL has developed the 5000 Series Wireless LAN Controller, comprising the NXC5200 WLAN Controller and the NWA5160N AccessPoint WLAN. The solution is designed to provide high 11n wireless performance for borderless mobile connectivity in medium and large businesses and to deploy secure enterprise environments. The NXC5200 integrates the ZyXEL features of its firewalls, such as stateful packet inspection (SPI) to monitor the data flow of wireless users. In addition, using functions such as Intrusion Detection/Prevention and Antivirus, which can be purchased separately, ZyXEL NXC5200 can work as a wireless gatekeeper.
