ELSNER 71235 Windancer KNX Weather Station with Cup Anemometer

The Windancer KNX weather system of the ELSNER 71235 series is designed to be integrated into the KNX building bus system, offering a series of functionalities for monitoring weather conditions.

Meteorological Measurements

• Temperature: Temperature measurement is possible in the range of -25°C to +50°C.
• Wind: Wind speed is measured using a cup anemometer, with a range of 2 to 30 m/s at 25°C.
• Brightness: The luminosity measure ranges from 0 to 150,000 lux.
• Precipitation: The sensor surface is heated to detect only drops and snowflakes, excluding fog or dew. The sensor dries quickly once the precipitation stops, interrupting the alarm.

Control Functionality

The device includes switching outputs for all measured values, with the possibility of adjusting the threshold values for each parameter or through communication objects.

Logic and Communication

• Logic: There are 6 AND logic gates and 6 OR logic gates, each with 4 inputs. All switching events, as well as 16 logic inputs (in the form of communication objects), can be used as inputs for logic gates.
• Communication: The device supports up to 254 group addresses and 254 assignments. The object reports are 254 (with GPS) or 201 (without GPS).

• Power supply: The power supply is 24V DC SELV ± 10%, with an auxiliary current of ≤ 65mA.
• Current Consumption: The current consumption on the KNX bus is ≤ 20mA.
