ELSNER 71236 Windancer KNX-GPS Weather Station with Cup Anemometer

The ELSNER 71236 Windancer KNX-GPS weather station is a specialized device for the KNX building bus system, designed to provide precise measurements of various weather parameters.

General Characteristics

The weather station is made of a plastic housing, available in white and translucent colors. Its size is 113mm x 101mm x 225mm and it weighs about 260 grams. The assembly is intended for wall installation and guarantees IP44 protection.

The operating environment is between -25°C and +50°C, while the storage temperature can vary from -30°C to +70°C.

KNX Configuration and Communication

The weather station operates on the TP1-256 medium and uses the S-Mode configuration mode. It supports up to 254 group addresses and 254 assignments. The number of communication objects is 254 with GPS and 201 without GPS. The current consumption is ≤ 20mA.

The connection is made through a KNX connection terminal with a conductor diameter of Ø 0.8mm and a stripping length of 5mm. The data recovery time after the bus voltage resumes is about 5 seconds.

Feeding

The required auxiliary power supply is 24V DC SELV ± 10%, with an auxiliary current of ≤ 65mA at 24V DC.
