<p/the EELECTRON IO16F01KNX-SD device is a universal KNX I/O module designed to be mounted on a DIN rail, ideal for home automation and building management applications. This module combines 16 relay inputs and 16 relay outputs, offering unprecedented flexibility in configuring and controlling various systems.

Output Configurations

The 16 relay outputs can be configured in different modes to suit various requirements:

• 16 outputs for controlling lights and loads
• 16 channels for PWM valve control
• 8 channels for controlling shutters and blinds
• 8 channels for 3-way valve control
• 4 actuators for 2-tube fan coils
• Combination of 2 or 3 relays with logical interlock for the control of 4-tube or 3-speed fan coils
• Combination of relay groups (up to 8) for special functions with logical interlock

Input Configurations

The 16 inputs can be used in various ways:

• Connected to buttons, switches or configured as outputs to activate individual signal LEDs
• Used for on/off controls, dimming, shutters or blinds, scenarios, sequences, step-by-step commands, etc.
• 4 inputs configurable as analog for connecting NTC temperature probes, allowing you to send 4 temperature measurements on the bus and manage a simple on/off control

Thermostatic functions

If inputs 3÷8 and 11÷16 are not used, it is possible to enable 2 complete thermostat modules. Each thermostat module manages 2 stages with integrated PI controller for controlling heating and cooling equipment, valves, 2- and 4-pipe fan coils, etc.

Saving and Restoring the Schedule

<p-The IO16F01KNX-SD version includes a microSD card reader, which allows you to save the device's programming and restore it to an identical device, avoiding programming in the field or allowing a quick recovery in the event of a failure.
