The EELECTRON CD00M02TRK device is a two-stage thermostat designed to control heating and cooling systems in residential and hotel environments. This device is integrated into the KNX protocol, ensuring secure and reliable communication through the KNX Data Secure bus.

Technical characteristics

The CD00M02TRK has compact dimensions: 96 x 96 x 36 mm for the 2-module model and 96 x 126 x 36 mm for the 3-module model, making it easy to install in English, German or Italian boxes.

Power supply and connections

The power supply is via the EIB/KNX bus with a voltage between 21 and 32 Vdc. The device has digital inputs for potential-free contacts and a configurable analog input for connecting NTC temperature probes (codes TS01A01ACC, TS01B01ACC, TS01D01ACC).

Control functions

The two-stage thermostat includes an integrated PI controller for controlling heating, cooling equipment, valves, 6-way valves, and 2- and 4-pipe fan coils. The presence of a temperature probe on board and the possibility of connecting an additional NTC probe guarantee precise temperature measurements.

Visualization and Interface

On the front side of the device there is a freely configurable RGB LED bar for displaying states or other quantities available on the KNX bus. In addition, a version with integrated temperature and relative humidity sensor is available, which can be used to control actuators for the regulation of ambient relative humidity.

Logic and Programming

The device has 32 logical blocks for creating simple or complex expressions with logical, threshold or conditional algebraic operators. You can use predefined algorithms such as proportional temperature and humidity controls or dew point calculation. The “Virtual Pocket Logic” integrates advanced features for managing scenarios and sequences of objects.

Applications

The field of application of the CD00M02TRK includes the management of on/off commands, dimmers, shutters and blinds, and other programmable command and control functions. It is particularly suitable for use in hotel rooms, where it can be integrated with magnetic sensors to manage presence and control functions.
