Control and Command Functions

The CD00B02KNX integrates a two-stage thermostat, each equipped with a PI controller for controlling heating, cooling equipment, valves, 6-way valves and 2- and 4-pipe fan coils. This allows precise and personalized control of environmental conditions in two distinct areas.

Sensors and Inputs

The device includes an on-board temperature probe and an input on the rear side that can be configured as digital or analog. It is possible to connect an additional NTC probe to obtain a second temperature measurement. In addition, a version with integrated temperature and relative humidity sensor is available, which can be used to control actuators for the regulation of ambient relative humidity [1] [2).

User Interface and Visualization

On the front side of the device there is a capacitive bar with swipe function for implementing programmable KNX functions. In addition, a freely configurable RGB LED bar is available for displaying states or other quantities available on the KNX bus, offering a clear and customizable indication of system conditions [2).

The device has 32 logical blocks that allow you to create simple expressions with logical or threshold operators, as well as complex expressions with conditional algebraic operators. It is also possible to use predefined algorithms for proportional temperature and humidity controls or dew point calculation.
