To prevent the accumulation of dust and dirt on the sample holes and on the piping network, regular purging of the piping network with compressed air is essential. Unlike conventional purge systems, the VSP-820 unit has a single built-in solenoid valve, which initiates the release of air into the piping network. This valve also increases the reliability of the system by protecting the unit from damage due to compressed air and is accessible through a control board integrated into the housing. Installation costs are significantly reduced, thanks to the compact design of the unit, which eliminates the need for additional mechanical and electrical control devices. Additional cost savings are achieved by reducing cabling and commissioning requirements. User-definable purging processes and customizable program functionalities allow the VSP-820 to provide continuous and uninterrupted airflow, while optimizing reference preventive maintenance regimes, through automatic purge processes that can be set at specific times. Designed with the engineer in mind, the unit offers additional flexibility through the use of an external button or a central timer as an input to allow the initiation of additional manual or automatic activations of the purging process.
