DT (IR+MW) volumetric detector for indoor use. The detection stage consists of a passive infrared (IR) and a microwave (MW) detector operating in the X-band (10.125 GHz). Intended for professional use, the TAURO detector offers the advantage of two different detection modes on two levels of sensitivity, which allow you to choose the one most suitable for the room to be protected, thus obtaining the best ratio between maximum detection capacity and very little possibility of unwanted reports. The device is equipped with an active IR antimask circuit to protect the IR section; a particular “intelligent” OR operating condition makes it possible to prevent any sabotage of the IR lens. All operating configurations of the device are carried out using dip-switches on the circuit. Equipped with integrated end of line resistors that can be selected by a jumper. It has an auxiliary input that allows the exclusion of MW when the system is disconnected (GREEN ACTIVE function) and the AHM (Anti Heat Mode) function — an exclusive detection algorithm that guarantees reliable detection of the area to be protected against fraudulent attempts to mask the temperature with shielding or in critical environmental conditions (temperature changes).
