<p The standard KNX presence sensor with brightness control and ceiling mounting, code PD00E11KNX, is a versatile and highly integrated device for room automation. Manufactured by Eelectron, this sensor combines presence detection, brightness control and integration with other automation systems.

Key Features

• Integrated with a brightness sensor for controlling ambient lighting.
• Rear connector with 3 configurable digital inputs for on/off controls, dimming, shutters or blinds, and command sequences.
• One of the digital inputs can be configured as analog for connecting NTC temperature probes, allowing the management of a complete thermostat module with integrated PI controller.
• Support for integration with the plug-in interface for wireless electronic lock systems, allowing the collection of door opening/closing data and the management of an automated KNX room.

BLE Technology and Beacon Functionality

<p The device includes an antenna with BEACON BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) function, compatible with iBeacon® and Eddystone®. This technology allows messages to be sent to mobile devices equipped with appropriate apps, allowing effective and personalized communication.

Presence Detection and Brightness Control

• Presence detection based on a passive infrared sensor with 5 independently configurable channels.
• Activable functions: presence with or without brightness control, automatic or semi-automatic detection, and constant brightness independent or dependent on presence.
• “Circadian Rhythm” logic to set brightness and color temperature based on predefined curves or the real position of the sun during the day.

Advanced Logic and Functionality

<p The device includes 12 logical blocks for creating expressions with logical, threshold, algebraic and conditional operators, as well as predefined algorithms for proportional temperature and humidity control or dew point calculation.

<p The “Virtual Pocket Logic” allows you to manage accurate presence information in a hotel room, using a magnetic sensor installed on the door and connected to a digital input.
