ARCUS-EDS 30532352 Product Description

The Arcus-EDS KNX SK30-THC-CO2-R sensor is a specialized device for measuring and controlling indoor air parameters. This sensor integrates sensors for temperature, humidity and CO2 concentration inside its housing.

Technical characteristics

• Temperature: Temperature measurement takes place with a resolution of 0.02°C and an accuracy of ± 0.4°C in the range of 5.. 60°C, and ± 0.8°C outside this range. The temperature can also be weighed with an outside temperature.
• Humidity: The measurement of relative humidity takes place with a resolution of 0.02% R.h and an accuracy of ± 3% R.h (20..80%) at 20°C, and ± 5% R.h outside this range.
• CO2: The measurement of the CO2 concentration is between 300 and 5000 ppm with an accuracy of < ± (50 ppm + 2% of the measurement).
• Calculated Values: The sensor also calculates absolute humidity, dew temperature and enthalpy.

Control functions

• Temperature Control: The sensor allows temperature control for heating and cooling applications, which can be combined. Setpoints are available for Comfort, Standby, Economy and Protection.
• Adjusting the Setpoints: The adjustment of the setpoints can be carried out using a rotary controller and/or KNX objects.
• Heating and Cooling Request: Additional signals are available for the heating and cooling request.

Logical Functions

• Logic Blocks: Four logical blocks for the logical connection between internal and external signals.
• Logical Input/Output: 10 associated logical inputs/outputs.
• Logical Functions: “AND, OR, NOT, XOR” logical functions for binary values and “+, -, *” functions for 8-bit values. “=” function for conditional forwarding of events.

Operational Characteristics

• Supply Voltage: The supply voltage is that of the KNX bus, between 21 and 32 VDC.
• Power Consumption: The power consumption is about 240 mW at 24 VDC.
• Operating Temperature: The operating temperature of the KNX module is between 0 and +50°C, while the storage temperature is between -25 and +60°C.
• Operating Humidity: The operating humidity of the KNX module is between 0 and 95% R.h, non-condensing.

Accommodation and Connections

• Housing: The KNX module housing is made of plastic.
• Dimensions: The dimensions of the housing are 55 mm, standard frame size.
• Connections: The sensor has 2-pole terminals (red/black) and an integrated bus coupler.
• Protection Class: The protection class is IP20.
