ARCUS-EDS 30511026 Product Description

The ARCUS-EDS 30511026 product is a SK10-TC-ETF2 series immersion screw temperature sensor, designed to measure and control indoor air temperature in heating and cooling applications.

Technical characteristics

This sensor is equipped with a PT1000 measuring element made of V4A stainless steel, with a maximum diameter of 9 mm and a maximum pressure of 40 bar. The sensor measurement range is between -30°C and +150°C, with a resolution of 0.02°C and an accuracy class B, ± (0.3°C+0.005*T).

Operating Conditions

The sensor operates in a temperature range between -25°C and +80°C and can be stored in the same temperature range. Protection against water infiltration is guaranteed by the protection class IP54/65.

Control functions

The SK10-TC-ETF2 sensor offers several control functions, including:

• Setpoint temperatures for Comfort, Standby, Economy and Protection, selectable via KNX HVAC objects.
• Change setpoints using objects.
• Storage of minimum and maximum temperatures.
• Alarm for overheating and freezing.
• Temperature limits.
• Fan control through external inputs.
• Adaptation for setpoints and maximum temperatures.
• 0... 100% controller output or programmable PWM for thermal actuators.
• Valve flushing function.

Logic and Signals

The sensor includes four logic blocks for the logical connection between internal and external signals, with 10 associated logic inputs/outputs. Additional signals are available for heating and cooling requests. Available logical functions include “AND, OR, NOT, XOR” for binary values and “+ - *” functions for 8-bit values, as well as the “=” function for conditional event forwarding.

Food and Consumption

The sensor operates with a KNX bus voltage between 21 and 32 VDC, with a power consumption of about 240 mW at 24 VDC.

Operating Environment

Ambient humidity can vary from 0 to 100% without condensation. The KNX module does not require an auxiliary power supply and can be started with ETS version 4 or higher.
