ARCUS-EDS 30802000 SK08-WAQ

The ARCUS-EDS 30802000 water quality sensor, called SK08-WAQ, is a specialized device for measuring and controlling water parameters, in particular pH and oxidation-reduction potential (ORP).

This sensor is part of the SK08 series and is designed to be integrated into the KNX automation system.

Control functions

The SK08-WAQ sensor has several control functions, including:

• Two-position control with switching and pulse output for pH and ORP
• PI control with 8-bit static or 1-bit modulated pulse width output for pH and ORP
• Pulse output for the input of chemicals and fresh water
• Periodic display of measured values or when the value changes
• Periodic parameterized sending of control variables
• Control release and lock function (parameterizable)
• Threshold alarm for upper and lower thresholds
• Auxiliary quantity to change the setting point or the threshold via bus

Calibration and Maintenance

• Calibration of sensors using the KNX bus and using two calibration objects
• Calibration of the pH probe is generally performed with 2-point calibration, while the oxidation-reduction potential with 1-point calibration
• Restore to factory settings available
• Operating time counter with threshold and reset

Integration and Configuration

The sensor is configured using the ETS (KNX Tool Software) software and the application program.

• Control functions such as signal threshold and various adjustments are set using the ETS software

The SK08-WAQ sensor is ideal for:

• Water quality monitoring in aquariums, pools, ponds and service water systems
• Control of sanitization systems
