ELSNER 70692 Sewi KNX T-jet black RAL 9005 KNX Temperature Sen

The ELSNER 70692 temperature sensor, called Sewi KNX T, is designed for the KNX bus system and measures the ambient temperature precisely.

Installation and Use

The sensor can be installed on the wall or ceiling and must be used only in dry indoor environments, avoiding condensation. The protection class is IP 30 and the tolerated environmental humidity ranges from 5% to 95% RH without condensation.

Technical Functionality

The Sewi KNX T sensor can receive external temperature values via bus and combine them with its own data to obtain a total value, for example an average of the room temperature. The measured values can be used to control limit-dependent switching outputs.

Logic and Calculations

• 8 AND logic gates and 8 OR logic gates, each with 4 inputs, which can use all switching events and 16 logic inputs as inputs.
• The output of each gate can be optionally configured as 1-bit or 2 x 8-bit.
• 8 multifunction modules (computers) to modify input data through calculations, condition queries or data point type conversion.

Configuration and Integration

The sensor is configured using the KNX ETS software. The sensor has a pre-set bus address (15.15.255) that can be changed via ETS.
