Elsner Elektronik's Fabro KNX control panel and display is designed for use in harsh and outdoor environments, offering a combination of ruggedness and ease of use.

Technical characteristics

The panel features an anodized aluminum housing, milled by a unique block, that protects a 7-inch real glass display. This construction guarantees high protection against the ingress of water and foreign solids, meeting the IP6X and IPX6 requirements according to DIN EN 60529/VDE 0470 Part 1:2014-09.

User Interface

The user interface is intuitive and easy to use, even in areas with high levels of dirt or strict hygiene requirements. Each side of the display has 8 extra large areas that can be used as buttons or displays. More than 100 symbols are available, with the ability to display associated values or colors. The transmitted objects can vary from 1 bit (switching) to 14 bytes (texts).

Functionality

The panel offers up to 40 input and output options on 5 pages. In the KNX application, there are 8 calculators for data conversion and 8 AND and OR logic gates each. The alarm unit allows you to define up to 8 events, with visual, light or sound notifications in the event of an alarm.

Installation and Materials

The panel is designed to be surface mounted, with options for both surface and recessed wiring. The surface of the display and touch surface consists of a single continuous sheet of glass.
