Propane butane gas detector

DG-1 LPG is a microprocessor-based detector for LPG (propane-butane) gas, which is used e.g. as fuel in vehicles. It is therefore recommended to install it in spaces such as garages, underground car parks, etc. Furthermore, rooms where heating appliances, cookers or burners operating with this gas are installed are exposed to propane-butane leaks. Due to the nature of LPG, which is heavier than air, the detector should be installed just above the floor in the monitored room. The digital gas detection algorithm and temperature compensation function ensure correct operation over a wide range of ambient temperatures and immunity to false alarms. The device detects dangerous concentrations of propane-butane in the room, i.e. above the threshold level of 20% of the so-called lower explosive limit (10% for pre-alarm) and activates the alarm. With built-in buzzer and green LED, the DG-1 LPG detector can work as a stand-alone detection/alarm device, but is also suitable for work as part of the alarm system. The self-diagnostic function constantly monitors the gas sensor for correct supply voltage status and performance, ensuring reliable operation of the detector.
