AQUA Ring is a digital passive infrared detector in oval housing, designed for ceiling mounting. It is ideal for use in places where wall mounting is difficult or simply impossible, for example in rooms with fully glazed walls or shop windows. It can also be used in spacious rooms, as its design allows for the protection of a large area. AQUA Ring is equipped with a four-element PIR sensor and a digital motion detection algorithm. Thanks to the two-track analysis of the PIR sensor signal (value and quantity) and temperature compensation, the device is characterized by high sensitivity and immunity to interference. The three-step sensitivity control allows you to adapt the performance of the device to the needs of the user and the protected premises. The detector is equipped with a tamper switch to protect it from opening the case. The device meets EN-50131 requirements for Grade 2.

The main task of the detector is to detect violations in the protected area. However, it can also be used to implement building automation functions. When the alarm system is not armed, the detector can control the turning on of lights, opening or closing of doors, etc.
