The new Picolink GSM is the bidirectional GSM cellular interface that effectively replaces the urban telephone line. If connected to a telephone device (analog PBX, analog telephone, etc.), it allows you to make and receive calls through the GSM network (not suitable for FSK signals, such as modems and/or FAX). It can be used both in the telephony sector and in alarm systems to connect telephone dialers and/or alarm centers equipped with a PSTN communicator. It is also used in the elevator sector as a line simulator for emergency telephone devices. The efficiency of the GSM module and the cellular network is constantly monitored. In addition, for prepaid cards, the function of checking the remaining credit and the SIM expiry (automatic updating of the date if the credit is recharged) is available. Using the “Combivox Multicontrol” function, it is possible to request information on GSM parameters (remaining credit, signal level and SIM expiry) at any time.
