ELSNER 30153 P04/3-RS485-CET Weather Station

The ELSNER 30153 P04/3-RS485-CET weather station is a specialized device for measuring and transmitting meteorological data, designed to meet the needs of professionals in the field of automation and management of environmental conditions.

General Characteristics

The weather station is made of a plastic housing, available in white or translucent. The dimensions are about 62 mm x 75 mm x 155 mm, with a weight of about 90 grams. The IP 44 protection guarantees resistance to adverse environmental conditions.

Assembly and Installation

The weather station can be mounted on a wall or on poles, thanks to the related accessories provided, such as stainless steel screws and nuts for wall mounting. A threaded bracket is also included for poles with a diameter of 35 mm to 55 mm.

Sensors and Measurements

The ELSNER 30153 weather station is equipped with sensors for measuring temperature, wind speed and brightness.

• Temperature Measurement: The temperature is measured in a range from -40°C to +70°C.
• Wind Speed Measurement: Wind speed is measured electronically, ensuring accuracy even in conditions of rain, snow or temperatures below zero, with a range from 0 to 35 m/s.
• Brightness measurement: Brightness is measured with three separate sensors for east, south and west, also detecting dusk and dawn, with a range from 0 to 99,000 lux.

Data Transmission and Power Supply

The data is transmitted via the RS485 (SELV) interface at the same voltage as the 24 V DC ± 10% supply. The connection is made through a 4-pin M8 connector with a current capacity of 5 A. It is advisable to use line protection if the power source can deliver more than 5 A.

Timetable functionality

The ELSNER 30153 P04/3-RS485-CET weather station includes a GPS receiver that provides the time in Central European Time (CET) with the automatic transition between winter and summer time.
