The AOD-210 detector is designed to work as part of the ABAX 2 / ABAX two-way wireless system, and can be installed both outdoors and indoors in protected premises, where adverse environmental conditions prevail. The detector complies with EN 50131 Grade 2 requirements (for indoor use).

The use of two detection paths (PIR + MW), combined with advanced digital signal processing and dynamic temperature compensation, ensures effective motion detection. The device can also be used for the protection of the crawling zone, as well as for the implementation of the pet function, i.e. immunity to the movement of pets (up to 20 kg). AOD-210 supervises the motion detection system and indicates possible irregularities in its operation. The detector is characterized by high immunity to false alarms.

AOD-210 has integrated temperature and dusk sensors (with adjustable sensitivity), which allows it to be used in alarm systems including home automation, without the need to install additional solutions. LED indicators show violations in the test mode, thus facilitating the process of testing the detector.

Device configuration and firmware update are performed remotely. Radio communication in the ABAX 2 system is encrypted with the AES standard.

The detector has a polycarbonate casing (IP54 protection rating), on which it is possible to install a protective canopy: HOOD C (white) or HOOD C GY (grey). The design of the AOD-210 detector allows installation directly on a flat surface. If the detector must be mounted at a different angle to have optimal coverage of the protected area, it is possible to use the dedicated supports (white or grey), BRACKET C or BRACKET E. The use of the modular support (BRACKET E) allows distance the detector from the wall surface - even by more than ten centimeters - and overcome limitations of the detection area such as: cornices, external curtains, ducts, light points, gutters or unevenness in the wall.

The detector has tamper protection against opening the case and removal from the stand.

The device is powered by a 3V CR123A battery. It is characterized by low power consumption and the "ECO" mode (only available in ABAX 2) further extends the battery life of the detector by up to four times.
