What’s New in the Firmware Updates

Video Streaming Optimization and Bug Fixing

• Improved Video Qualit: Video streaming from the App has been further refined for both Full Screen and Multiview modes.

• Bug Fixes: General bug resolutions ensure greater system stability.

• Tips for Unstable Connections: For low-performance Internet connections, we recommend adjusting the bitrate in the "Video Encoding" menu of the cameras to achieve optimal results.

Enhanced Video Analysis Functionality

• New Capabilities for NVR161K: You can now configure and receive video analysis events from all 16 video channels, doubling the previous capacity.

• Retroactive Compatibility: These updates can be applied to all existing systems.

• Support for Inim Lite and Pro Cameras: Supported video analysis events are integrated into the Lite and Pro camera series.

Complete PTZ Control

• Control Enhancements: Full control of Pan, Tilt, and Zoom (PTZ) functions has been implemented, surpassing the previous limitation to Zoom-only control.

Third-Party Camera Management

• Onvif Protocol Compatibility: Third-party cameras compatible with the Onvif (Profile S) protocol can now be managed remotely via the InimHome App.

• Onvif License Platform: A new platform for purchasing and managing Onvif licenses will soon be available, along with updated versions of the InimHome and InimTech Apps.

How to Update the NVR Firmware

Keeping your NVR firmware updated is essential to ensure optimal performance and integration of InVista products. Follow these steps to update:

1. Access the Configuration Menu:

   • From the NVR’s web page or local interface via HDMI, go to Setup > Upgrade > Upgrade NVR.

2. Start Cloud Update:

   • Select

     Check for Updates. When the window with the available update appears, press Upgrade.

3. Wait for Completion:

   • The NVR will automatically restart once the update process is complete.
