Operating Modes

The ID300 offers various operating modes, selectable locally via the EDRV100 driver:

• PLUS Mode: Pre-set from the factory, this mode signals an alarm if either the smoke or temperature threshold is exceeded. Additionally, in case of a temperature rise, the smoke detection sensitivity is set to maximum, allowing the detection of even the most critical fires, such as alcohol or similar liquid combustion.

• OR Mode: The detector signals an alarm if either the smoke or temperature threshold is exceeded. This mode, characterized by moderate sensitivity, can detect both fires with smoke and low heat emission, as well as fires with minimal smoke and high heat production, such as chemical substance fires.

• AND Mode: The detector signals an alarm only if both the smoke and temperature thresholds are exceeded simultaneously. This mode, with low sensitivity, helps minimize false alarms. However, due to its low responsiveness, careful consideration of conditions is required before use.

• SMOKE Mode: The detector operates exclusively as a smoke detector, similar to the ID100 model.

• TEMPERATURE Mode: The detector operates exclusively as a temperature detector, similar to the ID200 model.
