The Multi-Socket IP Module is an easy-to-install plug-in module that allows the system to communicate over a TCP/IP network. It can be used as a primary communication channel or as a backup for GSM/GPRS/3G or PSTN communication in case of communication problems. The Multi-Socket IP module allows simultaneous communication from ProSys™ Plus to multiple destinations such as the RISCO Cloud, the Monitoring Center (Supervision), the FM Follow Me numbers, the Configuration Software and SynoPsys. Cloud-level redundancy can be achieved by using a 2G or 3G Multi-Socket module with Multi-Socket IP modules. The Multi-Socket IP modules use a standard communication protocol (SIA, Contact ID) that sends alarm signals to the Monitoring Center that uses the RISCO IP receiver, connecting the alarm system to the software for centralized monitoring management. In addition to this, the system can send events in SIA IP protocol over TCP/IP to standard IP receivers. For end users, the IP module allows them to send notification emails and to obtain information on the state of the system. The IP module also allows the remote programming of the control unit using the configuration software.
