WINGUARD mini infrared barriers are discrete multi-infrared transmitter/receiver units housed in sturdy aluminum housings, one and two meters high respectively. With their range of 6 meters, they are ideal for external perimeter protection of windows and doors. The small dimensions of the Tx and Rx units (only 23 mm wide) make them suitable for installation only outside windows and doors. Both the transmitter and the receiver are supplied with a shielded cable of about 2 meters to simplify installation. Winguard is equipped with 4 twin active infrared rays, synchronized and controlled by a microprocessor. The alarm is activated when one of the rays is obscured by an object of at least 10 mm in diameter for a duration of 90 milliseconds.
