Methane detector

DG-1 ME is a microprocessor-based natural gas (methane) detector. It is recommended to install it in areas where a methane leak is likely to occur, for example in heating systems, kitchens or ovens powered by this gas (boiler rooms, kitchens, bathrooms, etc.), as well as in gas connections and gas meters. Due to the nature of methane, which is lighter than air, the detector should be mounted high up, just below the ceiling of the monitored room. The digital gas detection algorithm and temperature compensation function ensure correct operation over a wide range of ambient temperatures and immunity to false alarms. The device detects dangerous concentrations of methane in the room, i.e. above the threshold level of 20% of the so-called lower explosive limit (10% for pre-alarm) and activates the alarm. With built-in buzzer and yellow LED, the DG-1 ME detector can work as a stand-alone detection/alarm device, but is also suitable for work as part of the alarm system. The self-diagnostic function constantly monitors the gas sensor for correct supply voltage status and performance, ensuring reliable operation of the detector.
