Magnetic contact for exposed doors, with reinforced cable, 9/62 mm opening, balanced. The DC115 magnetic contact is designed for use in commercial and industrial installations where robust and sealed equipment is required. It is ideal for iron doors and gates. The
magnetic contacts are coated with rhodium or ruthenium and are hermetically sealed in dry nitrogen. This provides excellent protection against bonding and provides a moisture-free environment that prevents the formation of corrosion. All magnetic contacts are encapsulated in an exclusive polyurethane-based insulation mixture that guarantees the correct balance between flexibility and maximum holding capacity. In the event that the support material expands or contracts due to increased humidity or drying, the mixture allows the contact container to flex and curve, preventing the reed from cracking. It also remains resistant to temperature effects, while some mixtures may soften, causing a displacement of the reed with subsequent false alarms as the contact is moved away from the magnet.
