The KNX T-UP Touch CH temperature sensor, ELSNER code 70634, is an innovative device designed to measure ambient temperature and manage thermal control in indoor environments.

This sensor is able to measure the ambient temperature and can receive external measured values via bus, allowing a mixture of internal and external measured values to be processed, with proportions configurable in percentage.

Display and User Interface

The device has a display that can display up to 3 lines of data, showing the internal measured values or those received from the bus, as well as the display of the temperature control.

The user interface includes 2 buttons that can be configured as bus buttons or to change the ambient temperature and switch between different operating modes.

Thermal Control

The sensor is equipped with a PI controller for heating (one or two stages) and cooling (one or two stages), based on temperature. The control can be carried out based on separate target values or on a basic target temperature.

The threshold values can be adjusted by parameter or by means of communication objects: 3 × temperature.

Advanced Logic and Functionality

The device includes 4 AND logic gates and 4 OR logic gates, each with 4 inputs. Each switching event, as well as 16 logic inputs in the form of communication objects, can be used as inputs for the logic gates. The output of each port can be optionally configured as 1 bit or 2 × 8 bit.
