ELSNER 70852: Presence, Brightness and Temperature Sensor for the KNX System

The KNX T-L-pr-up Touch sensor, code 70852, is a multifunctional device designed for integration into the KNX building bus system. This sensor is available in deep black RAL 9005 and offers a series of essential features for the control and management of the indoor environment.

Sensor Functionality

• Detection of the presence of people using PIR (Passive Infrared) technology with a horizontal coverage angle of about 150° and a vertical angle of about 35°, and a range of about 5 meters.
• Brightness measurement with a range of 0 Lux to 20,000 Lux and the possibility of setting a brightness limit value using parameters or communication objects.
• Temperature measurement with a range of -5°C to +60°C, allowing the combination of values measured internally and externally based on an adjustable percentage.

Logic and Control

• 2 AND logic gates and 2 OR logic gates, each with 4 inputs. Switching events and logic inputs (in the form of communication objects) can be used as inputs for logic gates. The outputs of each logic gate can be optionally configured as 1-bit or 2 x 8-bit.

User Interface

• 2 touch buttons configurable as switches, toggles, dimmers or as an 8 or 16 bit encoder for calling and storing scenes.
• 2 separately configurable LEDs to flash or light up using communication objects.
