The KNX presence sensor T-L-pr-up Touch CH, code 70851, is a versatile and highly integrated device for the KNX building bus system. This sensor is designed to detect the presence of people, measure brightness and temperature, offering a complete solution for managing lighting and environmental comfort.

Key Features

The sensor uses a passive infrared (PIR) detection method to detect the presence of people, with a horizontal coverage angle of about 150° and vertical of about 35°, and a detection range of about 5 meters.

Brightness and Temperature Measurement

The sensor is able to measure brightness in the range from 0 to 20,000 lux, allowing you to set a brightness limit value using parameters or communication objects. In addition, it measures the temperature in the range from -5°C to +60°C, allowing the measured values to be combined with the external ones in a proportion that can be set as a percentage.

Logic and Communication

The device includes 2 AND logic gates and 2 OR logic gates, each with 4 inputs. All the switching events and the 8 logic inputs (in the form of communication objects) can be used as inputs for the logic gates. The output of each logic gate can be optionally configured as 1 bit or 2 x 8 bits.

User Interface

The sensor is equipped with 2 touch buttons, configurable as switches, toggles, dimmers or as an 8 or 16 bit encoder to recall or memorize scenes. In addition, it includes 2 LEDs that can be configured separately to flash or light up using communication objects.
