<p_The KNX RW rain and wind sensor, ELS code 70127, is a specialized device for measuring weather conditions and their integration into the KNX system. This sensor is designed to measure rain and wind speed, providing accurate and reliable data.

Technical characteristics

The sensor operates with a supply voltage between 20 and 30 V DC, with a maximum consumption of 30 mA and a power of 0.4 W. The remaining recovery is 10%.

Wind Measurement

The wind speed is measured electronically, ensuring a silent and reliable detection even in conditions of hail, snow and temperatures below zero. The sensor also records turbulent winds and anabolic winds in the vicinity of the weather station. If the wind measurement value does not change by more than ± 0.5 m/s within 48 hours, an error message is generated with a maximum value of 35 m/s.

Rain Measurement

The sensor detects the presence of rain and provides configurable alarm signals.

Outputs and Logic

The device has 9 switching outputs with adjustable threshold values, both through parameters and through communication objects. In addition, 8 AND logic gates and 8 OR logic gates are available.
