The EELECTRON PD00E20KNX presence and motion sensor is a device suitable for use in indoor environments where wide-range coverage is required. This sensor uses 3 distinct sensing elements and is based on a passive infrared sensor for presence detection.

• The device is equipped with 5 independently configurable channels, with different functions that can be activated such as presence with or without brightness control and with automatic or semi-automatic detection.
• The brightness can be managed constantly, independently or depending on the presence, with automatic or semi-automatic activation.

Connectors and Inputs

The PD00E20KNX has a rear connector with 2 digital inputs that can be connected to potential-free buttons or switches. These inputs can be used for on/off controls, dimming, shutters or blinds, scenarios, sequences and step-by-step commands.

The second input can be configured as an analog for connecting NTC temperature sensors, allowing the temperature measurement to be sent to the bus or to manage a complete thermostat module.

Thermostat and Temperature Control

The device integrates a two-stage thermostat with integrated PI controller for controlling heating and cooling equipment, valves, 2- and 4-pipe fan coils, etc.

Logic Blocks and Advanced Functionality

There are 12 logical blocks available to create simple expressions with logical or threshold operators, or complex expressions with algebraic and conditional operators. You can use predefined algorithms such as proportional temperature and humidity controls or dew point calculation.

The device also integrates the “Virtual Pocket Logic” and allows you to enable the logic called “Circadian Rhythm”, which imposes the brightness and color temperature based on predefined curves or the real position of the sun during the day with respect to a terrestrial coordinate.
