KNX Basic Presence Sensor - PD00E00KNX

The KNX Basic presence sensor, code PD00E00KNX, is an innovative solution for presence detection, designed for ceiling mounting and ideal for residential, hotel and building applications.

Key Features

This sensor uses a passive infrared sensor to detect the presence of people in the room. It has 5 independently configurable channels, allowing various functions that can be activated such as presence detection with or without lighting control and with automatic or semi-automatic detection.

Digital and Analog Inputs

The sensor includes a rear connector with 3 digital inputs that can be connected to potential-free buttons or switches. These inputs can be used for on/off commands, dimming, shutters or blinds, scenarios, sequences, step-by-step commands, etc. One of the digital inputs can also be configured as an analog for connecting NTC temperature probes.

Logic and Programming

The device integrates 12 logical blocks that allow you to create simple expressions with logical or threshold operators, or complex expressions with algebraic and conditional operators. Predefined algorithms are also available for proportional temperature and humidity controls or for calculating the dew point.

Virtual Pocket Logic

The “Virtual Pocket Logic” is a specific function for hotel rooms, which manages accurate presence information through a magnetic sensor installed on the door and connected to a digital input.

Other Features

It detects the unexpected presence and differentiates multiple behaviors.
It allows you to enable the “Circadian Rhythm” logic to set brightness and color temperature based on predefined curves or the position of the sun.
Integrated into the KNX protocol, the sensor is configurable through the ETS® application program.
