EELECTRON PD00E00KNX KNX PRESENCE SENSOR, BASIC WHITE

The KNX BASIC presence sensor (PD00E00KNX) by EELECTRON is a device designed for ceiling mounting, ideal for managing presence in residential, hotel and commercial environments.

Key Features

This sensor uses a passive infrared sensor for the detection of presence, with 5 independent and configurable channels for different functions.

Inputs and Configurations

The device has a rear connector with 3 digital inputs that can be connected to buttons or switches with free potential, which can be used for on/off controls, dimmers, management of shutters and blinds, scenarios, sequences and step commands.

Logic and Algorithms

The sensor includes 12 logic blocks for implementing simple or complex logical expressions, using logical, threshold, algebraic and conditional operators. In addition, predefined algorithms are available for proportional temperature and humidity controls, as well as the calculation of the dew point.

Specific Applications

The device integrates the “Virtual Holder Logic”, which is particularly useful in hotel rooms. Thanks to a magnetic sensor installed on the door and connected to a digital input, it is possible to precisely manage the presence information in the room.

Presence Detection

The presence sensor can infer the presence of people in the room using one or more dedicated sensors and also detect the unexpected presence, distinguishing different behaviors.

Integration with the KNX Protocol

The sensor is developed on the KNX protocol, making it part of an intelligent home automation system for automation and energy savings in buildings.
