<p The KNX EELECTRON PD00E09KNX-3 presence sensor is an innovative solution designed for ceiling mounting up to 16 meters, ideal for rooms with significant heights.

Key Features

• The sensor uses a passive infrared sensor to detect the presence of people in the environment.
• It has 5 independently configurable channels, with different functions that can be activated such as presence with or without lighting control and with automatic or semi-automatic detection.
• A brightness sensor is included to control ambient lighting.

Connectivity and Functionality

• Rear connector with 3 digital inputs that can be connected to potential-free buttons or switches, usable for on/off controls, dimming, shutters or blinds, scenarios, sequences and step-by-step commands.
<li One of the digital inputs can be configured as an analog for connecting NTC temperature probes, allowing temperature measurements to be sent to the KNX bus or to manage a complete thermostat module. <li The thermostat manages 2 stages with integrated PI controller for controlling heating, cooling equipment, valves and 2- and 4-pipe fan coils.

Logic and Programming

• It has 12 logical blocks for creating simple expressions with logical or threshold operators, or complex expressions with algebraic and conditional operators.
• It uses predefined algorithms such as proportional temperature and humidity controls or dew point calculation.
• It incorporates “Virtual Pocket Logic” to manage complex control logics.
• It supports the “Circadian Rhythm” logic to set brightness and color temperature based on predefined curves or the real position of the sun.
