The EELECTRON PD00E01ACC presence sensor is an innovative device designed to detect the presence of people in residential, hotel and commercial environments, integrated into the KNX protocol for managing building automation.
Key Features
This presence sensor is equipped with a passive infrared sensor that manages only the detection of presence. It offers 5 independently configurable channels, allowing you to activate different functions such as presence with or without brightness control and automatic or semi-automatic detection.
Inputs and Outputs
The device has a rear connector with 3 digital inputs that can be connected to potential-free buttons or switches. These inputs can be used for on/off controls, dimming, shutters or blinds, scenarios, sequences and step-by-step commands.
Logic and Programming
The sensor includes 12 logical blocks that allow you to create simple expressions with logical or threshold operators, as well as complex expressions with algebraic and conditional operators. It is possible to use predefined algorithms such as proportional temperature and humidity controls or the calculation of the dew point.
Integration and Functionality
The device integrates the “Virtual Pocket Logic”, which is particularly useful in hotel rooms. Thanks to a magnetic sensor installed on the door and connected to a digital input, it is possible to manage accurate presence information. The presence detection solution can infer the presence of people in the room using one or more dedicated sensors and also detects unexpected presences, differentiating multiple behaviors.
Other Features
- The sensor can be installed on the ceiling and manages the lighting environment based on the measured illuminance.
- It is possible to enable the “Circadian Rhythm” logic, which imposes brightness and color temperature based on predefined curves or the real position of the sun during the day with respect to a terrestrial coordinate.
- The measurement of brightness in the environment is indirect and requires calibration using the ETS software to set correction parameters based on a local measurement with a lux meter.
This device is designed to offer intelligent solutions for energy savings in buildings, with a Made in Italy design suitable for residential, hotel and commercial applications.
