KNX presence and movement sensor for mounting

The Ekinex® EK-SN2-TP movement sensor is used to detect the passage and stationing of people in a semicircular detection area. The ideal use is in corridors, transit areas, services, stairwells, lift landings and in general environments with occasional occupancy. The device has dedicated channels for controlling lighting, HVAC equipment and alarms. Motion/presence detection is performed by PIR (passive infrared) sensors; a sensor also allows the measurement of brightness in the environment. The mode of operation is semi-automatic or fully automatic. The device has an integrated KNX bus communication module and is designed for mounting in a wall recessed box; it is powered by the KNX bus and does not require an auxiliary power supply.
