The KNX LW ELSNER 70129 brightness and wind sensor is a versatile device designed to accurately measure brightness and wind speed, transferring these values to the KNX system.
Technical characteristics
This sensor operates with a supply voltage between 20 and 30 V DC, with a maximum consumption of 30 mA and a power of 0.4 W. The remaining ripple is 10%.
Brightness Measurement
The brightness is measured through a sensor that detects the intensity of the light in the range from 0 to 150,000 lux.
Wind Measurement
The measurement of wind speed is electronic, therefore quiet and reliable, even in conditions of hail, snow and temperatures below zero. The sensor also records turbulent air and anabolic winds in the vicinity of the weather station. The wind measurement range is between 0 and 35 m/s.
Wind Sensor Monitoring
If the wind measurement value does not change by more than ± 0.5 m/s within 48 hours, the maximum measurement value of 35 m/s is reported as an error message. All wind alarms with a limit value lower than 35 m/s become active accordingly.
Functionality and Configuration
The sensor has 9 switching outputs with adjustable threshold values, which can be set using parameters or communication objects. In addition, 8 AND logic gates and 8 OR logic gates are available.
