The KNIPEX 79 22 125 ESD electronic diagonal scissors are precision tools designed for ultra-fine cutting jobs, particularly useful in electronic and precision mechanics.

Technical characteristics

These scissors are made of high-quality chrome-vanadium steel, known for its strength and durability properties. The cutting blades have been sharpened with extreme precision and have a hardness of about 64 HRC, obtained through an induction hardening treatment.

Movement and Maneuverability

The screw joint has been made with particularly refined contact surfaces, ensuring a uniform and low friction movement throughout the opening range. The fluidly functioning double spring ensures a gentle and even opening.

Electrostatic Discharge Protection

The handles are designed to dissipate electrostatic energy in a gradual and controlled manner, protecting sensitive electronic components from electrostatic discharge, in accordance with applicable standards such as IEC TR 61 340-5, DIN EN 61 340-5 and SP Method 2472.
