The KNIPEX 78 71 125 ESD Electronic Super Knips are precision pliers designed for ultra-fine cutting in areas such as electronics, precision mechanics and communications engineering. Technical characteristics
The pliers are made of special tool steel, polished and with extremely sharp cutting edges, hardened by induction at about 64 HRC. The cutting edges have been made without bevels to allow wire cuts and are designed with a slight misalignment of the cutting edges to ensure precision cuts even on the thinnest wires and a long tool life.
Accuracy and Reliability
The tips of the pliers are precisely shaped to cut wires attached to surfaces, starting from a diameter of 0.2 mm. The cutting capacity includes soft wires up to 1.6 mm in diameter and medium hardness wires up to 1.2 mm in diameter. In addition, they are able to cut single conductors on fiber optic cables.
