Made from high-strength chrome-vanadium steel, forged and hardened at multiple stages, these cutters guarantee exceptional durability and strength. The forged axle construction ensures ideal solidity for heavy duty work.

Cutting performance

Thanks to the optimal coordination of the cutting angle and the transmission ratio, KNIPEX 74 05 180 cutters require 20% less effort than conventional diagonal cutters of the same length. The cutting blades are induction hardened (about 64 HRC) and can cut various types of wire, including piano wire.
