The KNIPEX 68 01 200 tip cutter is a professional tool designed to meet the specific needs of reinforced concrete work and wire processing.

The shape of the cutter head is optimized to facilitate the tightening of metal mesh knots in reinforced concrete, offering a fluid and precise movement.

Cutting Capacity

• Soft wire cut to a diameter of 4.0 mm (or 5/32")
• Cut medium-hard wire up to a diameter of 3.5 mm (or 9/64")
• Hard wire cutting up to 2.8 mm (or 7/64") diameter

Material and Construction

Made of high quality special steel, forged and hardened in several stages with oil heat treatment. The cutting blades are induction-hardened with a hardness of about 61 HRC.

Design and Maintainability

The handles are covered with plastic for optimal comfort of use. The surface of the head is polished, while the rest of the instrument is treated with black plating.
