The KNIPEX 12 12 12 precision insulation cutter has been specifically designed to deal with very hard and resistant insulating materials, such as those used in solar cables, which need to be almost completely cut to be removed.

This tool is ideal for cutting hard-to-remove insulators, such as PTFE, silicone, Radox®, Kapton® and rubber, even in multilayer configurations.

Operation

The insulation cutter uses two pairs of blades that cut the insulation in parallel in a circular motion, ensuring a precise and repeatable result. One pair of blades holds the cut insulation securely, while the other pair removes it from the cable.
