GPRS-A LTE is a universal monitoring module capable of operating in stand-alone mode or as part of an intrusion or automation system. The device is equipped with a GSM phone that supports data transmission using LTE technology *.

The module can be used to implement notifications in alarm systems by connecting to the control panel dialer or to its appropriately configured outputs.

The module has 8 inputs, which can be set as digital (NO, NC) or analog. Those that function as analog can be used in automation systems to monitor a large number of external devices, such as temperature, pressure and humidity sensors. GPRS-A LTE also has a 1-Wire bus, to which up to 8 DS-T1 or DS-T2 digital temperature sensors can be connected.

The module can send data via LTE*, using the open communication protocols MQTT, JSON and MODBUS RTU. Compatibility with these protocols offers the possibility of collecting data from different modules in a single server. This information can be processed and displayed, e.g. to supervise environmental parameters taken from a group of cold rooms, warehouses or production halls. This is part of the concept of the so-called Internet of Things (IoT). If the threshold values set for signals on the analog inputs or from 1-Wire sensors are exceeded, GPRS-A LTE can report this event to the monitoring station or send a notification to selected users. It is also possible to program an automatic change in the state of selected outputs in response to specific events, such as turning on the heating in the event of a significant drop in temperature.

The module can send notifications to up to a maximum of 8 users, in different ways: using SMS or PUSH messages or via the CLIP service.

The module has 4 programmable outputs that can be controlled remotely via SMS, CLIP, GX CONTROL mobile application or GX Soft configuration program, as well as IoT. GPRS-A LTE can be used for remote control of the alarm system or other devices.

For programming and configuration, you must use a computer with the GX Soft program installed. The computer connects to the module locally (RS-232 port (TTL) or remotely (LTE*).

Remote updating of the device firmware is possible thanks to GPRS-A compatibility with the UpServ update server.
