ETHM-A is a universal communication module that can operate in stand alone mode or as part of intrusion detection and automation systems. The module supports data transmission via the Ethernet network.

In the context of alarm systems, this module can be used to communicate with the surveillance, in combination with any alarm control panel.

ETHM-A is equipped with 8 inputs that can be set as digital (NO, NC) or analog. Analog inputs (0-10V) can be used in automation systems to monitor a wide range of external devices, such as temperature, pressure and humidity sensors. ETHM-A can also manage up to 8 digital sensors (e.g. temperature) in 1-Wire protocol, on a bus with a maximum length of 30m. The module can collect and send different types of readings, such as current temperature and humidity level, acting like a true IoT device. ETHM-A can transmit system events (e.g. arming, alarm etc.) to the monitoring station, and simultaneously send a notification to appropriate users.

The module is equipped with 4 OC type outputs which can be controlled e.g. via GX CONTROL mobile application, from PC with GX Soft software or via IoT protocols.

The device allows the sending of PUSH notifications in the GX CONTROL mobile application or email messages.

The programming and configuration of ETHM-A takes place from a PC with the GX Soft program. It is possible to connect to the module locally, through the miniUSB port, or remotely, via Ethernet. Remote updating of the ETHM-A firmware is possible via the UpServ program.
