ELSNER 70665 Product Description

The Intra-Sewi KNX T sensor, model 70665, is a temperature measurement device integrated into the KNX bus system. This sensor is available in black (RAL 9005) and stands out for its versatility and precision in climate control applications.

Technical characteristics

The Intra-Sewi KNX T sensor measures the ambient temperature with an accuracy of ±0.7°C between -20°C and -10°C and ±0.5°C between -10°C and +60°C. The measurement resolution is 0.1°C.

Installation and Assembly

The device is designed to be installed in false ceilings or in wall outlets. The delivery includes pre-assembled clamps for installation in false ceilings and a support ring for installation in wall outlets. The dimensions of the sensor are about 80 mm in diameter and 5 mm high above the wall, with a total height of about 31 mm including the staples.

Protection and Operating Environment

The sensor has an IP 30 degree of protection and can operate in a temperature range from -20°C to +60°C and relative humidity from 5% to 95% without condensation. The weight of the device is about 50 g.

Control Features

The Intra-Sewi KNX T sensor integrates a PI (Proportional-Integrative) controller for heating (one or two phases) and cooling (one or two phases), based on temperature. The threshold values can be adjusted for each parameter or through communication objects.

Logic and Communication

The device includes 4 AND logic gates and 4 OR logic gates, each with 4 inputs. All switching events can be configured according to the specific needs of the installation.

Integration with the KNX System

The sensor operates with a nominal voltage of 30 V DC SELV and a maximum consumption of 10 mA. The connection is made via KNX terminals. The device supports up to 254 group addresses and 254 assignments, with 129 communication objects available.
