The ELSNER 70666 Intra-Sewi KNX TH sensor is a specialized device for measuring temperature and humidity in the environment, integrated into the KNX building bus system.

Key Features

This sensor is available in two color variants: white (RAL 9010) and black (RAL 9005), and can be installed to be incorporated into the false ceiling or into a wall socket.

Temperature and Humidity Measurement

The sensor measures the ambient temperature with a measurement range from -20°C to +60°C. In addition, it measures relative and absolute humidity, with the possibility of calculating mixed values combining internal and external measurements, whose percentage can be set by the user.

Temperature and Humidity Control

The device includes a PI (Proportional-Integrative) controller for heating (one- or two-phase) and cooling (one- or two-phase), based on separate temperature setpoints or a basic setpoint. For humidity, the PI controller manages ventilation and dehumidification or humidification based on humidity levels.

Logical Functionality

The sensor has 4 AND logic gates and 4 OR logic gates, each with 4 inputs. All switching events and 16 logic inputs (in the form of communication objects) can be used as inputs for logic gates. The output of each port can be optionally configured as 1-bit or 2 x 8-bit.

Drive Variable Comparators

There are two comparators of drive variables to output minimum, maximum or average values. Each comparator has 5 inputs for values received through communication objects.

Dew Point Calculation and Comfort Field

The sensor calculates the dew point and reports if the temperature and humidity values are within the comfort range according to DIN 1946.

Installation and Configuration

The installation can be carried out using pre-assembled clamps for the false ceiling or a support ring for the wall socket. The configuration takes place through the KNX ETS software.
