The INTESIS INMBSMEB0500100 gateway is designed to integrate M-Bus devices with building management systems (BMS) or controllers based on Modbus TCP. This device makes it possible to make the logs and resources of the M-Bus devices accessible as if they were an integral part of the Modbus system.

The gateway supports up to 50 M-Bus devices and allows communication with up to six simultaneous Modbus TCP clients.

Communication

The communication takes place via Ethernet port for Modbus TCP. The gateway also includes an integrated M-Bus level converter, eliminating the need for an external converter.

<p-Configuring the gateway is made easy by using the Inthesis MAPS configuration tool. This tool allows you to create projects with predefined templates, configure the necessary parameters, enable the desired signals and verify the communication between the gateway and the system. Templates can be imported and reused multiple times, significantly reducing commission time.

The configuration can also be performed through the gateway's IP (Console) port. In addition, a scan function is available for the automatic identification of M-Bus devices and the discovery of logs.
