EELECTRON IN00B02SON Product Description

The EELECTRON IN00B02SON device is a thermostatic control module designed for integration into home and building automation systems based on the KNX protocol. This module is ideal for residential and hotel applications, offering efficient and customizable management of heating and cooling.

Technical characteristics

The IN00B02SON device has a two-stage thermostat, each equipped with an integrated PI controller for controlling heating, cooling, valves and 2- and 4-pipe fan coils. This configuration allows the control of two distinct areas with independent temperature parameters.

Sensors and Inputs

The module includes an on-board temperature probe and an input on the rear side that can be configured as digital or analog. This input allows you to connect an additional NTC probe (eelectron codes TS01A01ACC/TS01B01ACC/TS01D01ACC) to obtain a second temperature measurement. In addition, a version with integrated temperature and relative humidity sensor is available, which can be used to control actuators for the regulation of ambient relative humidity.

Interface and Visualization

On the front side of the device there is a freely configurable RGB LED bar for displaying states or other quantities available on the KNX bus. This LED bar can be used to indicate system status or to display other relevant information.

Logic and Programming

The device has 32 logical blocks that allow you to create simple expressions with logical or threshold operators, as well as complex expressions with conditional algebraic operators. You can use predefined algorithms for proportional temperature and humidity controls or for calculating the dew point. In addition, the device integrates the “Virtual Pocket Logic”, useful for managing specific scenarios such as the management of hotel rooms.

Assembly and Power Supply

The IN00B02SON module is designed to be installed in 2-module recessed boxes, compatible with Italian, German and English standards. The power supply is via EIB/KNX bus with a voltage between 21 and 32V DC and a maximum current of 30 mA.

This device is configurable through the ETS® application program and can communicate with the KNX Data Secure protocol, ensuring high security and reliability in automation applications.
