EELECTRON CS05B01KNX-1 Product Description

The EELECTRON CS05B01KNX-1 product is a KNX® capacitive control panel designed for highly personalized applications, particularly suitable for the hotel and residential market.

Technical characteristics

This device is equipped with a two-stage thermostat with integrated PI controller, allowing the control of heating and cooling appliances, valves, 2- and 4-pipe fan coils, etc.

Interface and Controls

The capacitive button panel includes 4 to 10 channels, each of which can be configured to manage on/off commands, dimmers, control of shutters and blinds, recall of scenes and sequences of objects. The upper part of the glass can be customized with a backlit room number, while the lower part includes keys for doorbell, 'do not disturb' (DND) and 'prepare the room' (MUR) functions, as well as two additional keys that can be customized on request.

Temperature Sensor and Inputs

The device includes an integrated temperature sensor and a 2-pin rear connector that can be configured as a digital or analog input. An additional NTC temperature probe (eelectron codes TS01A01ACC, TS01B01ACC or TS01D01ACC) can be connected for direct temperature measurements.

Visualization and Feedback

On the front side of the device there is a freely configurable RGB LED bar to display states or other quantities available on the KNX bus.

Power supply and assembly

The power supply is via EIB/KNX bus with a voltage of 21 ÷ 32 Vdc. The device is compatible with British, German or Italian 2-module boxes.

The dimensions of the device are 96 x 96 x 36 mm.

Digital and Analog Inputs

• For potential-free contacts (clean contacts) with a maximum connection cable length of ≤ 10 m (braided cables).
• For NTC temperature probe with a maximum length of connection cables of ≤ 20 m (twisted cables).
